The funny thing about work here is that two days are never the same. Usually, that’s a good thing. It keeps you on your toes. Yesterday for example, as part of my job, I got to get some footage of the Kenet. From a roof. That’s right. I had rooftop access.
A friend knew a friend. We got in an elevator to go to the 9th floor I think. This building even had an elevator. It was kind of sketch though. We went from 0 to 8 to 6 to 4 to backwards 6 to 2 to 9 and we got off at 3. Maybe it use to be one of Willy Wonka’s elevators. But at any rate I got to play on a roof yesterday and got some cool shots of the city and of the Kinnet. So I thought I’d share.
First: Durres
Notice the buildings going as far as you can see.
Next: The Kenet (where I live) which literally means marshes. 
The houses in the front are at the edge of the city. They fan out into a field. Those are all people who moved here from villages over the past 15 years or so.
Enjoyed the pictures. Phillip said many buildings in Turkey were built for ruins. He made pictures of several buildings that had a variety of building material from different centuries used in one building. Is this ture of the buildings there?

I don’t think so. Most of the buildings (at least in the Kenet anyway) are concrete/brick.
