The train ended up being a bad decision. The track was being worked on but we didn’t find this out until we stopped and were told to get on a bus. Pretty sure the ticket lady knew this and just didn’t tell us because all the nationals seemed to be aware of it. So it ended up taking twice as long than if we had just taken a bus the whole way. Plus the driver decided to take the most scenic route possible even dropping some workers off at their doorsteps. So we actually went out of our way to neighborhoods!

–Cost: Free

–2 Nights
–Cost $98.50

We got in late due to the scenic route we took and as we were getting ready for bed around midnight after finding somewhere to eat, we found critters crawling all over the walls and beds. Turns out they were bedbugs. The hostel was full so we couldn’t change rooms and it was too late to find another place. So we had to spend the night there. After sleeping on the floor, we checked out the next morning as early as we could. They refunded our money and we dumped our luggage at some lockers at the train station until we could find another place to stay. We found an apartment that had a washer and dryer so we could try to kill any bed bugs that may have came with us.
