Nicole & I took a boat down the Danube River to get to Bratislava because honestly, how many times can you say you went sailing down the Danube river?
Bratislava by far was my favorite city. It has so much fun, unique & quirky shops & things to see in the city. One of my favorites was this coffee shop that is a storage cube turned playplace for kids while their parents have a drink.
They have lots of fun statues!
The most famous is the man at work statue who just hangs out in a manhole.
The smurf church was fun to see. It’s a bit out of the way but you can’t miss it once you’re on the right street because it’s so blue!
There is also the UFO bridge named because well…it looks like a UFO If you go up to the castle you can get some good views of the city. You can see the crown at the tip top of St. Martin’s Cathedral which signifies a king was coronated there. The path to the coronation is marked by these little guys in the road. Bratislava is just a fun city made for exploring.
