By visiting Paducah, I could cross the Ohio River. This town had a waterfront so I could go down to the river as well.
I have a thing for bridges – because bridges come with lines. And who doesn’t love a good line!
I made my way down to the waterfront where I hung out until the chilly air got the better of me.
Then I went exploring. They had a really cool train out on display by the waterfront. But they put signs up that ruined all the fun.
So I ventured back towards the shops. They had some of the best window displays I’ve seen in a while. So I meandered around the historic feeling buildings.
I was meeting friends at the next stop. For the first time on this trip, time actually mattered so I said goodbye to Paducah.
