It’s crazy how much change can happen in a year. This time last year, I was in Albania gearing up for 6 weeks of summer camps. Now, I’m in Atlanta trying to figure out my summer plans. But it got me thinking about how different life looks for me now.

Now, I have a nice large bin to throw my trash in – though on long weekends it spills out onto the steps. Last year I threw my trash into designated piles along the side of the road.

Now, I can cross lots of bridges in my car. Last year, I was crossing most of them on foot because not many held cars. Also I didn’t have a car.

Now, I’m driving pretty much everywhere on asphalt roads. Last year, I was walking pretty much everywhere on dirt roads.

Now, I don’t drive in rush hour traffic unless I have to. Last year, I didn’t mind getting stuck in traffic because it was always entertaining & involved some type of animal.

Life is definitely different than a year ago. Some differences I enjoy. Others not so much. But in another year, I’m sure life will look totally different than it does now & I’m excited to see what adventures I find along the way!
